Sometimes acting/exaggeration/hyperbole/white lies/lies of omission are necessary for social lubrication
we all use lying “as a tool of social survival”
It's not lying it's acting
As with the stoics talk about comforting somebody upon death and you have to appear sad with them but not to let it get to your heart you're not lying to him you're acting
